** When do I get my Cap & Gown? Mid-May, Jostens will bring them to THS or Butler Tech directly.

** Are students permitted to decorate their caps? No - Cap decoration is not allowed as part of the commencement ceremony.

Senior Fees

Seniors must return their Chromebook, have all school fees paid and other financial obligations (pay-to-participate, library fines, lost books, lost textbooks, athletic equipment, and uniforms, etc.) paid and/or returned in order to participate in commencement. Fees must be paid no later than May 20th. Personal checks will not be accepted after May 3rd—after that date, fees must be paid in cash or on EZ-Pay.

Preferred Name for Graduation:

The Commencement Booklet and Diploma, like all official school documents, will include the full, legal name of each graduate.

However, we appreciate that some of our students prefer a name other than that on their birth certificate. With that in mind, we allow parents/guardians to permit a preferred name as your graduate crosses the stage. Examples: Maxwell prefers "Max"; Maria prefers "Alex"; or William prefers "Billy"

Should you/your graduate prefer a different name, please complete the REQUEST FORM and return it to the THS Main Office no later than 3 PM on Tuesday, May 21. This will allow the ceremony planning team to make the necessary adjustments.
