Student Withdrawal Procedure

If you are interested in withdrawing your student, please see below for the following steps that need to be completed before your student/students can be officially withdrawn from Talawanda High School.

  1. All past due school fees must be paid. Fees can be paid with cash in person at THS, or you can pay online using EZPay. You can find that link here. For any fee related questions please call 513-273-3213, or email johnsonr@talawanda.org.

  2. TSD Issued Chromebook must be returned along with the case and charger. If these are not returned or lost, the cost of the chromebook and accessories will be added to the students’ school fee balance. If you are a participant of BYOD and a TSD Chromebook was not issued, please disregard this step. If the Chromebook is not returned, this could delay the process of withdrawing.

  3. Consent to withdrawal paperwork must be completed in the THS School Counseling Office. Please contact Jenn Adler at 513-273-3218 or adlerj@talawanda.org with any questions. When filling out consent to withdrawal forms you will need to provide the following:

    1. New School District

    2. New Address

    3. Valid parent/guardian phone number

    4. Valid Photo Identification (Drivers License, Passport, State Issued ID Card)

TSD will be expecting a Request of Records from the new school district within 24-48 hours of enrollment. TSD must receive a record of where your student will be attending.

If we do not receive a request or verification that your student is attending elsewhere within 14 days of withdrawing, we must report this to local law enforcement where the student is now residing.

Please reach out to 513-273-3218 or adlerj@talawanda.org with any questions or concerns.
