Ohio Gold Award for TSD Preschool image

Talawanda preschool programs have received a Gold Status Step up to Quality (SUTQ) award from the state of Ohio. Step Up To Quality is a three-tier quality rating and improvement system for Ohio's early learning and development programs. SUTQ recognizes and promotes programs that meet and exceed quality program standards. Step Up To Quality program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.

Talawanda Preschool Application 2026/2027

In order to fill the limited spaces in our preschool classrooms, typically developing children will enter the program through a lottery. Please use the following link to apply for the Talawanda Preschool lottery for the 2026/2027 school year. Applications must be completed by January 31, 2026. The lottery will take place on February 13, 2026. Families will be notified of their placement on the roster or on the waitlist after February 13, 2026.

Preschool Application

PROGRAM LOCATIONS AND INFORMATION:

Preschool runs Monday to Thursday each week.

The morning class runs 9:10am - 12:10pm

The afternoon class is 12:50pm - 3:50pm

Each elementary school building houses one preschool classroom.
