School Safety at Talawanda High School

At Talawanda High School, keeping the entire THS Family safe is a top priority! We conduct regular safety drills throughout the school year and follow established protocols to help ensure everyone knows how to respond in the event of an emergency.

We are fortunate to have a full-time School Resource Officer (SRO) on site who supports safety, builds relationships with students, and works closely with school administration. In addition, our School Safety Professional Learning Committee (PLC), made up of staff from various roles, meets monthly to review procedures, address concerns, and discuss ongoing safety planning.
