School News and Information
Happy Friday! We hope you’ve had a great week!
State Report Card - Here is a link to our state report card for last year. We had 4 Stars (Exceeds Expectations) in Achievement, 3 Starts in Progress and Early Literacy, and 5 Stars (Significantly Exceeds Expectations) in Gap Closing. This is a tremendous accomplishment as it means that we are advancing and growing our students at a much better rate compared to other schools and in addition are closing gaps between the various sub-group populations of our school.
Our Teaching and Learning Director, Mrs. Gregg also shared this information.
There are 59 elementary school buildings in Butler County and according to Public School Review, for the 2022-23 school year, Kramer Elementary ranks 4th! Rankings are determined by math and reading proficiency, combined scores from state tests. Kramer is also ranked #4 of all 86 schools in the county. This is a great accomplishment, thank you all!
Congratulations to our staff, students, and families! Working together we can continue to help all our students grow and learn.

Kramer RAH (Reading At Home) is a voluntary program for K-2nd graders that builds a home-school connection by rewarding students for reading at home. Each week students record the books they've read and turn in record sheets for rewards. Rewards alternate between a student-selected book and a small prize.

TSD Lunch Program
For the past two school years, the USDA has offered waivers to food service programs across the US allowing us to offer all students breakfast and lunch at no charge. Unfortunately, these waivers expired on June 30, 2022. This means that families will be asked to complete and submit a Meal Benefits Application for the 2022-23 school year. With the waivers, breakfast and lunch were free. If students do not qualify for free/reduced lunch this year, they must pay. The prices are listed below:
Student Meal Pricing
Breakfast - $1.50
Lunch - Elementary $2.75
Milk (Individual) - $.60
