  • Congratulations! We are  pleased to share that Talawanda High School has won a 2021 College Success Award - Gold from GreatSchools.org.

As you may recall, the College Success Award recognizes public high schools that excel at preparing students for college and beyond. This year, we introduced the College Success Award - Gold — an additional, elevated level of distinction to recognize schools that have a multiyear track record of preparing students to enroll and succeed in college, as determined by available college preparation and postsecondary data.

Talawanda High School is one of only 1,770 public high schools across the nation to win the inaugural College Success Award - Gold. Learn more about the Gold level Award.

We understand many communities are still dealing with the physical, mental, and emotional toll of the coronavirus pandemic. We appreciate your ongoing dedication to your students’ success and hope this recognition provides a bit of good news worth celebrating.

  • Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday from 3:30-7:00.  Please call Mrs. Roy at 273-3218 to schedule an appointment.  Face masks along with other protocols must be followed that evening.

  • Drama Classroom Information:

If you are interested in being a part of the Drama Program, or interested in finding out more about it, please feel free to join the Google Classroom with the code below.

Joining the classroom does not mean you are expected to participate in anything in particular.  It is merely a place to see what is happening and to decide if there is something you would like to participate in.  If you decide later you would like to to be removed from the classroom, just send me an email and I can drop you off the site.  mortimorem@talawanda.org

There will be a google form in the classroom that I ask you to fill out.  This just lets me know who you are and what your experiences and interests are, and what you hope your theatre program can offer you.  Again, this is not required; it is there for me to get to know you and hopefully help make your theatre experience here at THS positive and productive.

The code for the classroom  is:

Qjtdktw

I look forward to seeing you on the site!  Melanie Mortimore, Drama Director
