Happy Friday! This has been a great week but so hard to believe we have been in school for 4 weeks. Time does fly!
Next week is Talawanda’s Homecoming Week and we will be following the following themed days.
Monday - Minion Monday (yellow shirts and jeans OR something from the movies)

Thursday - Jersey Day (Wear a team jersey - your own team or your favorite team)

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
Thank you to everyone that has entered from Sycamore Street.
When dropping off in the vehicle line in the morning, please enter from Sycamore Street. We ask that vehicles come up Sycamore Street and turn right into the Kramer parking lot to drop off students.

Have you enrolled in Kroger Community Rewards? It's easy to do & every shopping trip earns money for the Kramer PTG! From May 1, 2022, to July 31, 2022, we had 115 Households enrolled & earned a total of $627.12 in Total Donations. Just imagine how much we would earn if every family enrolled! Students Helping Students- Oxford Lane Library
"Students Helping Students" is a collaboration between the public library and Miami education students who volunteer to tutor our local middle school students. They offer specialization in ELA and Math for grades 5 - 8. Students can register for up to 2, 30-minute sessions each week in either or both subjects.
Oxford Multicultural Family Alliance
Oxford Multicultural Family Alliance is hosting a Community Meet & Greet on Saturday, September 10th, 3 pm-5 pm at the TRI Community Center Playground/Field Area (6025 Fairfield Rd, Oxford) All are welcome! The goals of OMFA include creating a community of diverse families and supporting and advocating for diverse students of Oxford. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Invite your family and friends!
Great Miami Valley YMCA
The Great Miami Valley YMCA is offering before and after-school care at Kramer for the 2022-23 school year. Please call 513-887-0001 ext. 1105 or contact: childcare_YBASE@gmvymca.org
Fees
Chromebook/IPad insurance cannot be waived. School fees can be paid on the Talawanda website via EZPay or by sending a check to the school with your child. Please include the child’s name in the memo.
Absences
If your child is going to be absent, please call the Kramer Attendance Line @ 513-273-3500 by 10:00 a.m.
TSD Lunch Program
For the past two school years, the USDA has offered waivers to food service programs across the US allowing us to offer all students breakfast and lunch at no charge. Unfortunately, these waivers expired on June 30, 2022. This means that families will be asked to complete and submit a Meal Benefits Application for the 2022-23 school year. With the waivers, breakfast and lunch were free. This year if students do not qualify for free/reduced lunch, they must pay. The prices are listed below:

Breakfast - $1.50
Lunch - Elementary $2.75
Milk (Individual) - $.60
Yearbook Volunteer
We are looking for a parent volunteer to complete the Lifetouch Yearbook. Most of the work can be done on your computer at home. Please call 513-273-3501 if you have any questions.
Girls Flag Rugby
My name is Paige Roller and I am the Program Coordinator for Girls Rugby Cincinnati. We have registration open for our flag rugby teams in Oxford, Fairfield, and Norwood.
Destination Imagination- Bob Black
Do you like science, music, acting, or engineering? Destination Imagination is a great way to work with a small team to solve this year's challenge using ALL these skills together as a team. Practice time will take place on Saturdays from 10 am to noon at Lane Library. Come to an informational meeting in Lane Library on Saturday, August 27th, or Saturday, September 3rd at 10 am and give DI a try!
