School News and Information

Happy Friday! This will be the last E-News for the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you for a great school year!

We are in the home stretch. We have tons of fun activities planned for the last 4 days of school.

The last 3 days of school will be early release days.

Tuesday, May 24th - Dismissal at 3:15 pm

Wednesday, May 25th - Dismissal at 3:15 pm

Thursday, May 26th - Dismissal at 3:15 pm

Kramer Mile- Monday, May 23, 2022

The Kramer Mile was postponed. I have worked with Mrs. Eckerle, Mrs. Ackley, Mrs. Kelly, and Mrs. Smarda to have the students run the mile during their specials time on Monday, May 23rd. The students will run on the bus loop. Here are the times:

Field Day May 24

Mrs. Eckerle is proud to announce that Field Day will be back on May 24, 2022. Classroom teachers will be reaching out to secure volunteers for the event. More information to follow from the classroom teachers and Mrs. Eckerle.

5th Grade Clap out

We will have the clap out on the last day of school. We will begin around 2:45 when 5th-grade gets back from Dogwood.

5th-grade will come down the stairs, go through 2nd grade, 1st grade, library, kindergarten main entrance area, cafeteria, and out the bus loop doors.

3rd and 4th graders will fill in from upstairs. They will line up in the library and toward kindergarten.

Parents can line around the walking circle/track of the bus loop.

Kids will do one lap, come in 2nd-grade doors and head back up.

For the 22-23 school year, the Kramer PTG will again be offering the opportunity for Kramer families to purchase a ‘School Supply Kit’ that comes with (almost*) everything on the school supply list! You’ll save time by not having to hunt down the right school supplies, and support the PTG at the same time! You can also donate to help us provide school supplies to Kramer families in need!

Oxford Multicultural Family Alliance

Oxford Multicultural Family Alliance is hosting a Community Meet & Greet on May 22nd, 2 pm-4 pm at the TRI Community Center Playground/Field Area (6025 Fairfield Rd, Oxford)

All are welcome! The goals of OMFA include creating a community of diverse families and supporting and advocating for diverse students of Oxford. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Invite your family and friends!

Camp Invention

Oxford Literacy Team- Super Summer Readers 2022

Great Miami Valley YMCA

The Great Miami Valley YMCA is offering summer day camps.

The Great Miami Valley YMCA is looking at offering before and after-school care at Kramer for the 2022-23 school year. The YMCA is pre-registering for before & after school care and will offer the program at Kramer if they receive a good response.

Fees

Chromebook/IPad insurance cannot be waived. School fees can be paid on the Talawanda website via EZPay or by sending a check to school with your child. Please include the child’s name in the memo.

Absences

If your child is going to be absent, please call the Kramer Attendance Line @ 513-273-3500 by 10:00 a.m.

TSD Lunch Program

The National Lunch Program has extended the free meal status for all students for breakfast and lunch for the 2021-2022 school year. It is still important to turn in the Free/Reduced Lunch Application in order to qualify for other benefits.

The Kramer Lunch Menu has some changes (due to delivery issues). Mrs. Pence has adjusted the menu and it is in the link below. I will announce the menu the day before at school.
