School News and Information
This will be our last E-News for the year. We want to thank you for your support throughout this year and wish you all a safe and happy summer!
We have had a fun and amazing week! We had our retirement assembly, Kramer talent show, 5th Grade STEM Showcase, Science Week, Kramer Mile, Field Day, and staff lunch choices. Thank you to everyone that visited, helped, and supported Kramer this week.
Kramer Mile- Kramer PTG
Thank you to everyone that donated to our Kramer Mile. We were able to raise over $16,000 for our Kramer PTG. We will be able to fund field trips, and staff requests, and provide numerous other opportunities next school year.
We had tons of volunteers help make this event a success. A big thank you to our Miami partners, Russ Peterson (MU Track) and Darrell Hallberg (MU Athletic Department).
Thank you to Chief John Jones and Chief John Detherage from the Oxford Police & Fire Department for keeping our streets closed and safe for our Kramer participants. We couldn’t have done it without their help and support.
Thank you to all of the parents, friends, and family members who lined Sycamore Street. Thank you for cheering on over 530 students and 70+ staff members walking/running to Millett.
5th Grade Clap out
We will have the clap out on the last day of school. We will begin at 2:00.
5th grade will come down the stairs, go through 2nd grade, 1st grade, library, kindergarten main entrance area, cafeteria, and out the bus loop doors.
3rd and 4th graders will fill in from upstairs. They will line up in the library and toward kindergarten.
Parents can line around the walking circle/track of the bus loop.
5th graders will do one lap, come in through 2nd-grade doors and head back up.
School Supply Sale for 2023-2024
2023-2024 School Supply Sale - order by June 9th.
Kramer PTG is partnering with EPI for a 2023-2024 school supply sale. School supply kits are on sale now through May 23rd and can be ordered online at:

Supply kits will be delivered to Kramer and available for pickup at the open house in mid-August. Please email tim.kuykendoll@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Bus Transportation for Next School Year
All families who live more than two miles from the school & need bus transportation must complete a Transportation Form and turn in to the school office by June 8th. A detailed TSD Update for Tier One Transportation & Transportation Form was sent home in your child’s Friday Folder.

Last 3 Days End of School Year
Talawanda will have early release the last 3 days of school (Wednesday-Friday) May 24-26.
THS Dismissal- 1:15 pm
TMS Dismissal- 1:30 pm
Elementary- 2:30 pm
Talawanda High School will host the GRADUATION ceremony Friday, May 26th at 7 pm at Millett Hall.
Pay close attention to your child's school calendar (in the weekly enews) for individual school activities listed as we move closer to the end of this school year.
Fees
Past Due Fee letters have been sent home. School fees can be paid on the Talawanda website via EZPay or by sending a check to the school with your child. Please include the child’s name in the memo.
