Kramer- E-news 3/9/2018

Happy Friday!  There will be the last E-news before spring break.

The last day of school before Spring Break is Friday, March 16, 2018.  The students will return to school on Monday, March 26, 2018. There is no school for students on March 30 and April 2.

Mrs. Pearson’s class is in the news!  We have some amazing 3rd graders that are problem solving, working together and raising some great questions.  Check out the link that was featured in the Miami Student:

Thank you to Tina Bidwell for organizing another successful conference meal night for the staff at Kramer.  Thank you to all of the parents that donated money, drinks and sweets! Thank you to Tina for setting up, breaking down and delivering the food.  Thank you to everyone that made the conference nights a success!

Thank you to Betsy Walker for lining up and also staying for child care during the conference times.  Thank you for allowing the parents to sit with the teachers during their conference time.

Elementary Report Card Survey

When new state standard were released, the Talawanda School District began the process of transitioning to a new standards-based report card at the elementary school level.  The change occurred during the 2014-2015 school year and included new standards, new marks, and separate process standards for behaviors. From 2014 to 2017, marks were reported for broad categories of the new standards.  This year, we began reporting marks for each of the specific essential standards. Please take a moment to complete this short survey as we continue to evaluate our communication of student learning. Parent Report Card Survey
