Posted on: October 8, 2021

Happy Friday, we hope it has been a great week!  Looking ahead, Fall Break is scheduled for Monday, October 18, 2021.  There will be no school on that day.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday October 12 and Thursday October 14 from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Please note that we will continue to run conferences via Zoom.  This will help limit exposure as well as save travel time for our families.  If you are not able to connect via Zoom please contact your child’s teacher to make other arrangements.

Kramer Food Drive  - October 27 - November 3

This year Kramer is participating in the annual Kiwanis Community Food Drive in a new and exciting way!   We are asking families to send in boxes of cereal that we'll use to construct a giant dominoes run.  Once we construct and film the run, all the cereal will go to the Talawanda-Oxford Pantry.  The food drive runs from October 27 - November 3.  Each homeroom will collect donations.

In addition to cereal, the pantry is collecting personal care items such as tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, hand soap (liquid or bar), toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner (travel size & larger), baby lotion, and band-aids.  You may send in these items as well.

 Destination Imagination

Talawanda's Destination Imagination program is a great way to get involved in a STEAM (STEM + Art!) activity even among the chaos of COVID-19! It is a team-based challenge program that requires creativity and teamwork. Teams can choose to solve one of six challenges in the areas of science, technology, fine arts, improv, outreach, and engineering - or teams of K-2nd grade complete the early learning challenge. While safety is still a top concern, this year's program is designed to make up lost time for kids to regain social skills through teamwork and engage in collaborative problem-solving

Please complete this interest form to learn more:

School fees can be paid on the Talawanda website via EZPay or by sending a check to school with your child.  Please include the child’s name in the memo.

If your child is going to be absent, please call the Kramer Attendance Line @ 513-273-3500 by 10:00 a.m.
