I would like to thank everyone who played a role in making today's National Walk and Bike to School Day such a success!  We had a record number of walkers/bikers (approximately 193) on a beautiful day at Kramer!

A special thank you to John Buchholz for helping cover the intersections for us!

A special thank you to Missy Friede for sponsoring this event, having water for the students, and recruiting so many wonderful volunteers!

What a fun day...thank you to all for helping to make it happen!

Don’t forget that conferences are next Tuesday and Thursday, October 16th and 18th.  Teachers have sent home conference times. If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please contact your child’s teacher.

PTG Conference Meal Coordinator, Tina Bidwell shared the following information:
Don’t Forget!

Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences are Tuesday and Thursday next week.  Kramer PTG graciously donates meals for these nights so that the teachers and staff have time to prepare for their meetings.  We need your help! If you can donate a snack/appetizer or a dessert, please bring it to the main entrance of Kramer before 4:00 on either night.  Thursday night we are looking for soups and chili donations as well.

Student and Parent Volunteers Needed!

The Psychology Department faculty at MU are looking for volunteers to help the clinical psychology graduate students taking a course about psychological assessment.  The course involves learning about different assessment techniques, such as interviewing, observations and tests. The students need to practice these assessment methods with children and adolescents of all different ages and with parents.  We are looking for child/adolescent and parent volunteers to help the students practice and learn. If you student does participate, he or she will most likely have fun and will earn a small reward/prize. The tests are interesting and challenging and most students really enjoy the interacting with the graduate students.  Since the graduate students are just learning to administer the tests, the results are not considered to be valid so we cannot share the results/feedback of the assessment. Please contact Dr. Vaishali Raval ( or Dr. Jen Green ( or call 529-2423 to learn more about helping our graduate students in their training to become psychologists.

Great opportunity to teach your child about saving.  Miami Savings Bank visits Kramer once or twice a month and your child can add money to their account.  Schedule attached.
