  • Hello Everyone!

Just an update. This year we have more than 500 hundred students that have earned Honor Roll status, more than half our student body. Great news. Because of Covid restrictions early in the year we were unable to bring people together and celebrate these successes. On April 14th,  we are going to take the afternoon and celebrate all of our Honor Roll students. They have received their usual certificates but on the 14th we are going to have, literally a “Field Day” complete with food, drinks and activities. Hoping the weather cooperates we will be outside, Honor Roll students will be called outside and Mr. Cole, Mr. Rhoton and I will be grilling hotdogs and all the treats that go with a picnic, Field Day event. This week will be  the week after EOC’s and we hope our students can take a couple of hours in the afternoon, eat,  have fun and relax after their week of testing and celebrate their hard work in the classroom.

Thank you,

Mr. Tom York, THS Principal
