EOC Information

April 4-8, THS will be administering the state End of Course (EOC) Exams. During that week, students will be on a modified schedule with the EOCs being given in the morning each day. It is very important that testing students arrive by 7:45 as it is a timed test.  Non-testing students will report at 10:00.

In the next few weeks, students in tested subjects will be reviewing and completing practice tests in their classes. Please encourage your student to use these resources and do their best.

The testing week schedule is attached here.  Non testing students will not report until 10:00.

  • The City of Oxford is Developing a NEW Comprehensive Plan

The city of Oxford is in the beginning stages of the next comprehensive plan.  Talawanda School District has a voice on the city Recreation Board, and we've been asked to share the website Oxford Tomorrow, where community members can provide input and stay informed about this process.  This includes the potential development for recreational options/facilities and community activities.  Check it out!

  • March is Problem Gambling/Gaming Awareness Month.  The earlier individuals are introduced to gambling, the more likely they are to become problem gamblers as adults.  Many of the video games and apps our youth are involved in simulate the same excitement experienced by gamblers. According to Ohio for Responsible Gambling, 10% - 14% of youth ages 12-17 are at risk; possibly made worse by the pandemic.  Resources are available for parents, students and educators through Change the Game Ohio.  Visit the site at  https://changethegameohio.org
