  • CONGRATULATIONS to  the Girls Basketball team as they won the league championship this season. They finished the regular season 19-2 and 9-1 in the (SWOC) league. They will start tournament action on Saturday, February 12th vs Loveland. Congrats again on a great season!

  • Swim & Dive Team News-

After 10 years the boys swim & dive team is STILL the only team to ever win a SWOC championship in swimming & diving.  Saturday night the boys team pulled off an unbelievable win over Ross, seeking out a victory by a narrow 11 points.  The boys were led by Noah Femiani who won the 200 Free and 100 Free and Alex Carlson who tied for first in the 50 Free and won the 100 Fly outright.  Julio Fuentes also won the diving meet.

And congratulations to the girls swim & dive team for getting the SWOC title BACK in swimming & diving after a one year hiatus.  The girls dominated the meet, beating 2nd place Ross by over 100 points.  The girls were led by Maren Patterson who was named SWOC Athlete of the Year after winning the 200 IM and 100 Free.  Maren's 100 Free time was good enough to break her own league record in the event.  Other event winners for the girls were Kenna Mondello in the 50 Free, Eliza Sullivan in the diving event, and Mercy Patterson in the 100 Back.

The swim & dive teams will next be in action in two weeks when they head to their sectional swim & dive meets, where they'll be looking to qualify a number of individuals and relays to the district swim meet.

  • The next Best Buddies meeting will be held on Thursday, February 24th in Room 316 until 3:30pm.  All students are welcome to join us in promoting friendship and inclusion here at THS!
