Talawanda High School E-News - October 2, 2020

Reminders:

 

 

  • The Ohio Department of Education is inviting parents of children with an IEP or who receives special services to fill out a short survey. The survey can be found here.

 

  • Best Buddies will have a virtual meeting on Wednesday, October 14 at 2pm. All students are welcome to join the club! We love to meet new students! Best Buddies is a great way to meet new friends and socialize with your classmates! We will play games and have a chance to share with one another. Please email Mrs. Sammons at sammonsa@talawanda.org or president Sophia Thomposon at sophia.thompson@talawanda.org with questions and for the Zoom link to join us.   • Attention Seniors- The College Essay Workshop will be held on October 7th.  We will have representatives from several colleges who will be available to review your essay and give feedback.  Stay tuned for more information about this virtual event.

 

  • This year the THS FAFSA Day will be held on Oct. 20 and 21.  This virtual event will allow families to complete their FAFSA with the help of college financial aid experts.  More information will be coming regarding times and how to register.

 

 

 

  • Talawanda’s Fall food program is now free to everyone! Every Monday all Talawanda families may pick up 5 breakfasts and lunches free of charge. Find more information here.
