Marshall Recess 2/25/19

Marshall Recess- Students Brought in Early Due to Noise

 

Today the afternoon recess at Marshall Elementary was brought indoors due to loud noises in the area.  The school resource officer connected with local authorities to assess the situation. Marshall is surrounded by a rural/agricultural area.  It was determined that the shots were coming from a property in the area and were contained to that property.

 

The students, staff, and school were not under any direct threat, and a lockdown was NOT issued.  Marshall opted for indoor recess the remainder of the day.  Student safety is always the highest priority, and precaution was used today.
