School News and Information
Happy Friday! The students and staff had a great spirit week. It was fun to join the themes throughout the district this week! We have also had a great week in the classrooms! The students are working on being PAX leaders and we are focusing on teaching appropriate behavior in the cafeteria.
We have seen a number of students bring toys and trading cards (Pokemon) to school. Please remind your child that these items are to remain at home per the Student Handbook. Thank you for your
support.
State Report Card - Here is a link to our state report card for last year. We had 3 Stars (Meeting Expectations) in Achievement and K-3 Literacy and we had 5 Stars (Significantly Exceeds Expectations) in Progress and Gap Closing. This is a tremendous accomplishment as it means that we are advancing and growing our students at a much better rate compared to other schools and in addition are closing gaps between the various sub group populations of our school. Congratulations to our staff, students, and families! Working together we can continue to help all our students grow and learn.
