A Peaceful, Productive, Healthy, and Happy Community

The mission of Marshall Elementary is to work as a community to achieve higher levels of thinking and learning by empowering every learner everyday.

School News and Information

Thank you to everyone that attended conferences this week.  We would also like to thank the PTG and Marshall Conference Meal Committee who set up our meals.  We appreciate it.

Redhawk Recess

Thank you to Health and Wellness Coordinator, Amy Macechko and members of Miami University for our Redhawk Recess at Marshall.  All 3 elementary buildings participated in counting our steps. The community goal was 1,000,000 steps and we passed our goal!

Marshall's total came to 295,421

Total elementary steps came to 1,160,234.

From the Marshall PTG.  The Marshall Monster Mash Dash Golf Ball Drop packets went home this week.  Each student was provided 5 tickets to sell. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far.  If you do not plan to sell all of your tickets please, send any unused tickets back to school so they can be given to families requesting extra tickets.  Thank you for your support of Marshall and the PTG.

Halloween at Marshall

Looking ahead please don’t forget:

We will be celebrating Halloween on Thursday, October 31st.  Costumes will be permitted with the following guidelines:

  1. Masks are not to be worn to school but may be put on for the parade
  2. Props must be school appropriate (No weapons)
  3. Minimal Makeup
  4. Costumes must be worn to school.  There will not be a “change time”.  Please make sure that your child will be able to function comfortably throughout the day (bathroom needs, recess, school work, specials) while wearing his/her costume.  Costumes should not be too graphic, gory, or scary

Halloween times will vary.  Please check with your child’s teacher about their classroom party plans.
