Kramer Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day October 12, 2022
Put on those sneakers and pump up your tires, it’s Kramer Elementary’s Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day! Come Join the fun on October 12, 2022!
We are celebrating Walk, Bike, & Roll to School Day with McGuffey Montessori School! We have partnered together with Lane Library and are allowed to use that as a "drop off your car and walk" site. Please park in the back of the lot between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. Kramer students and family members can then walk to Kramer from that location together.
We also encourage "walking/biking school buses"! Coordinate with your neighborhood, find adults to lead the way, and come together as a group to school.
Can't wait to see you on the sidewalks!
Kramer Earth Club- Ms. Hamilton & Ms. Clay
Ms. Hamilton and Ms. Clay are restarting Kramer's Earth Club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. There will be guest speakers and activities focused on nature and the environment. Help Us Stock the Kramer RAH Book Reward Cart!
Become a Book Fairy by donating to our campaign. We will receive 100% of your donation and the funds will be used to purchase new books directly from Scholastic. The books will be used to stock the Kramer RAH Book Reward Cart. Scholastic Books provides quality children's books with engaging stories, beloved characters, favorite series, and reading-level-appropriate choices.
Kramer RAH (Reading At Home) is a voluntary program for K-2nd graders that builds a home-school connection by rewarding students for reading at home. Each week students record the books they've read and turn in record sheets for rewards. Rewards alternate between a student-selected book and a small prize.

Fall Conference Meal Kramer PTG- Sarah Meaney
Sign up here https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0949AFAC23ABF58-fall!
Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are on October 18th (Tuesday) and October 20th (Thursday) this year. We provide meals on those nights when teachers/staff work extra long hours. Kramer PTG will purchase the main dish. But we ask parents for help on other items. In the past, teachers said they really appreciated having access to food and drink on-site and really enjoyed all the food provided by parents. We serve about 40-50 teachers/staff each night. So we need as much help as we can get!
Items needed are warm & cold side dishes, dessert, snack/chips, a 2-liter soft drink, and bottled water. The conferences start at 4:00 PM.
Please bring in your food between 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM on the day you're signed up to the Kramer office or teacher's lounge (sign in first at the office). Please write your name and your phone number if you'd like your container returned to you. It will be ready for you to pick up on the next day. I'll have masking tape and marker available. However, using a disposable container will make the clean-up easier for us. If it does not need to be refrigerated, you can bring it in a few days before. But please mark it as "For Conference Meal" as well as your name and the date you're signed up.
If you have any questions, you can email KramerPTG@gmail.com or sameaney@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your help!
