1. No Costume Masks- Face Coverings Still Required

2. No Props

3. Minimal Makeup

4. Costumes must be worn to school.  There will not be a “change time”.  Please make sure that your child will be able to function comfortably throughout the day (bathroom needs, recess, school work, specials) while wearing his/her costume.

Drop Off Procedures

This was shared earlier this week.  Just another reminder

.

Good afternoon, we have students that are dropped off too early at Kramer in the mornings.  We have numerous morning meetings and staff are unable to come outside until 9:10 am.  If you are dropping your child off before 9:10 in the morning, we ask that you stay with them until a Kramer staff member is outside.

Here are the morning drop off procedures:

AM Vehicle Student Drop-off:

Drop-off time is 9:10 am - 9:30 am.

Students eating breakfast at school may enter the building at 9:10 am.  .

Cars may enter the Kramer property from 9:10 am to 9:30 am.  You will enter at the main entrance and drive toward the preschool sidewalk.

Cars may enter the Kramer property, ONLY FROM SYCAMORE STREET

Please form a single-file line.  Do not double stack cars.

Students must exit the passenger side of the vehicle so they remain clear of traffic.

If you need to exit your vehicle to help your child out of the car, or if your child is not ready to exit the vehicle, please pull into a parking spot and walk them to the front stairs.

Students will walk down the sidewalk and enter at the main entrance.

Students must only exit vehicles between the two crosswalks, past the main steps.

Staff members will be present to get students in and out of the building safely.

Please have students practice exiting safely and efficiently.

AM Walker Arrival:

Students eating breakfast at school may enter the building at 9:10 am.

Walkers will use the sidewalk at the corner of Sycamore/Locust

Staff members will be present to get students in and out of the building safely.

Kramer Food Drive  - October 27 - November 3

This year Kramer is participating in the annual Kiwanis Community Food Drive in a new and exciting way!   We are asking families to send in boxes of cereal that we'll use to construct a giant dominoes run.  Once we construct and film the run, all the cereal will go to the Talawanda-Oxford Pantry.  The food drive runs from October 27 - November 3.  Each homeroom will collect donations.

In addition to cereal, the pantry is collecting personal care items such as tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, hand soap (liquid or bar), toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner (travel size & larger), baby lotion, and band-aids.  You may send in these items as well.

Transportation Reminders- Ms. Morrish

  1. Masks are required on school buses.

  2. Students need to ride the bus they are assigned to.

  3. Students cannot ride home with their friends during the pandemic.

  4. Families must have only one AM address and one PM address.

Lane Library Tutoring

Jackie Berberich from the Lane Library shared the following information.

I am contacting you about a new program being offered to students grades 5-8 at the Oxford Lane Library.  We are collaborating with amazing Miami University Students who are available every Tuesday from 4-7 pm through November to tutor in math and ELA FOR FREE!  Parents just need to call the library to register each week. It is geared toward middle schoolers, but we have just opened it up to 5th graders as well.  The flyer says it is open to students in grades 6-8, but it has been expanded to include 5th-graders.
