Kramer Enews 1/12/18

Posted on: January 11, 2018

Happy Friday!  Please remember that there is no school on Monday, January 15, 2018 to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  There are numerous activities sponsored in and around the Oxford area.

Please remember, students can not enter the building until 8:55.  Students that are dropped off before 8:55 will need to wait outside until breakfast begins.  At 8:55, students can enter the school and wait for the 9:05 bell.  At 9:05 students can head to their classrooms.  If you have any questions, please contact the Kramer office.

During the winter months we try to have outdoor recess when possible so please send students to school with coats, hats, and gloves so they have them if they need them.  If the temperature, with or without wind chill, drops below 25 degrees then recess is held indoors.

If your child needs assistance with hats, gloves, coat or any other items, please contact the Kramer office and ask to speak to, Nurse Dena or Jason Merz.  We will be happy to assist you.  Also, please label these items with the child’s name so we can return them if lost.

Kindergarten registration is right around the corner.  We have put together some information on the Talawanda website.  Talawanda is happy to announce that there will be no charge for full day kindergarten starting for the 2018-19 school year.  Please look for additional information regarding registration in future E-news.

Caitlin from the Oxford Lane Library share the following information:

The Oxford Lane Library will be partnering with The Knolls on January 15 for a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service event. If you could plug the event on your announcements or in your school newsletters, we would be so grateful!  Here are the event details (I've also attached a flyer):
