Preschool Programs Housed in TSD

Talawanda School District would like to take this opportunity to provide some factual information regarding preschool programs that are housed in our elementary buildings.

1. The preschool program is a Butler County Program, and Talawanda is one of many districts that collaborate with this program. The current agreement with Butler County is that they will provide the personnel and services for preschool, and TSD provides the space.

2. We have been assured that there will be both AM and PM classes available at all 3 TSD elementary schools for the 2019-20 school year .

3. We understand that there are some changes that may occur to the county program due to regulations contained in a federal grant program and the enforcement of those regulations.

4. Talawanda does not have the authority to change their program or the authority to disregard federal mandates.
