From the Oxford Lions Club - Eye Exams and Glasses Program

The Oxford Lions Club is dedicated to the overall philosophy of Lions International concerning the provision of vision services to our local community. The local community includes Oxford and the surrounding areas serviced by the Talawanda School District. An important vision service funded by our Club is providing eye exams and eyeglasses for needy school children and adults within the local community. Our Club policy is to provide full funding and other necessary support for those children and families with limited financial resources. Applications for the eye exams and eyeglasses program are available at each Talawanda school building by contacting Talawanda social service workers and/or nurses. The Oxford Lions Club also collects old eyeglasses and donates them worldwide to people in need. As you are doing your spring cleaning, please drop-off or send any old eyeglasses to Bogan! Thank you!
