In response to the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 2004, the Health Coordinating Council and the Talawanda School District adopted a local wellness policy to address student wellness, specifically in the areas of physical activity and nutrition. Annual data is collected in order to assist the district in identifying areas of strength and areas needing improvement.
