8th Grade Parents and Students Invited to attend Post Secondary Enrollment Options Meeting

The Talawanda High School Guidance Department is sponsoring a Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) Workshop on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the THS Media Center. New students to the program and their parents are required to attend this important meeting. Students who have taken a Miami class through the PSEO Program in the past are welcome to attend.

Representatives from Miami Oxford and Hamilton campuses will be present to explain the application process and program requirements. Questions should be directed to the Talawanda High School Guidance Office by calling 273-3218 during regular business hours.

Requirements for participation during 9th grade is the following: superior academic performance in all academic areas; recommendation from teacher in subject area in which student wishes to take PSEO course; 24 ACT composite score required; and only one college class taken per semester.
