Areas of Focus:

    • Achievement & Gap Closing: Continue support for subgroups, specifically students with disabilities.

  • Gap Closing: Continue our district focus on attendance knowing that students must be present to learn.

Next Steps… Talawanda will continue to:

  • Use data and collaboration days to plan targeted student supports.
  • Prioritize equity to ensure all students succeed.
  • Continue implementation and fidelity of High-Quality Instructional Materials in English Language Arts.
  • Refine literacy and math initiatives and intervention programs.
  • Provide resources, professional development, and staffing to schools needing additional support.

There will be an in-depth presentation at our next School Board meeting on Thursday, September 17, at 8:00 pm.
