Volunteer Information/Background Checks

***Important Information***

Background Checks for Volunteers:

Any Parent or Parent Volunteer wishing to sign up to chaperone or assist with a fieldtrip or school event MUST come to get their fingerprinting/background check at the Central Registration Office at a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event.  This allows for adequate time for the background check to come back and the appropriate information to go to the school administrator for planning purposes.  The district will not conduct any background checks after May 1st in a school year, so please plan accordingly.

Please understand that public schools have implemented these regulations to be in compliance with state and federal laws around safety and volunteers in schools.
