The mission of the Talawanda School District is to challenge all students to meet their fullest potential.

The mission of the Talawanda Athletic Program is to provide a variety of opportunities for participation and development in athletics and to significantly contribute to the overall educational experience.

The department seeks to meet our mission by:
• Promoting and developing positive habits and attitudes and to help prepare students for adult life.
• Promoting academic excellence.
• Promoting good sportsmanship, ethics, cooperation/teamwork, and the value of competition (win or lose).

• Emphasizing and encouraging positive lifestyles.
• Ensuring that all participants adhere to the rules of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference and the Talawanda Athletic Department.
